No notification from Pomona

<p>I sent in my application on the 28th and they have so far ignored me... anyone else with similar situations?</p>

<p>Nah dude, a friend and I did ED 2 and we didn’t even get anything yet. Apparently they’re notoriously slow, but what matters is that we’ll still get our decisions on time :)</p>

<p>a lot of people have not gotten anything yet. I also submitted on the 28th and got an email late last week confirming reciept. I think they should be in touch soon, but I have also heard they are pretty slow.</p>

<p>I submitted around the 28th too, and I also have received absolutely nothing. All my other schools have their online systems all set up and updated, but I wouldn’t worry. Friends of mine who also applied haven’t gotten so much as an email either.</p>

<p>They emailed me! I submitted the CommonApp on the 27th of December. They downloaded my Mid Year Report on the 19th of January. </p>

<p>"We are happy that you initiated an application to Pomona College under our Early Decision 2 program. According to our records, we have now received all of the documents required to complete your application to Pomona. We will notify you of the Admissions Committee’s decision in mid-February.</p>

<p>Pomona is not slow, they are thorough.</p>

<p>Pomona will email you if there is anything missing from you application. If you applied ED2 you can call the admission office between 8-12 and 1-5 Pacific time and they will be able to double-check that you have everything submitted. If you applied regular decision you’ll likely have to wait a bit longer, but rest assured Pomona will contact you if you’re missing anything.</p>

<p>I also haven’t received anything. I applied RD. I spoke with the admissions office on Friday and they advised they are working on ensuring the apps are complete and will be in touch when they complete that procees.</p>
