No one from our high school has ever been accepted at _________

WOW! That’s impressive. Everyone in your school has been accepted to, for example, Harvard? What’s your secret?

My school has had acceptances at all of the T30 schools within the last 3-4 years. We’re a pretty damn competitive public though.

Pretty much every top uni/college everyone has been accepted to at my school. The most rate being Harvard and Princeton, but there are always ~30 or more going to the “CC top universities/liberal arts colleges” each year

Harvard
10char

The best US universities students from my school ever got into are Purdue and Dickinson…

No one to Brown in a VERY long time. I applied and was deferred and then rejected. Oddly I was waitlisted at Yale. And my school constantly sends kids to Bates/Bowdoin but never Colby

look at US News ranking, and no one from my school has ever gotten any higher than U Wisconsin-Madison (No.39) , except me; i got into Wake Forest (#28), and that’s it! such a shame…

No one had gotten into Georgetown for years before this year. Never any Harvard, but Yale, Duke, Columbia, Brown, etc.

Princeton .

Lots of kids go to top colleges…Many at Cornell, Northwestern, NYU, and Emory (like half of the senior class is going to these colleges)…People are admited to Columbia, Yale, Brown, UPenn, Stanford, all the UCs, USC, Georgetown, etc. though…

Very competetive private school…

My HS is blacklisted by MIT. Counselor told me that a certain highly ranked school has my HS blacklisted. I’m pretty sure its MIT since no one got in during my 3 years there (yes to rest of top 20, I can’t exactly eliminate Cornell)…

Slippery Rock State U. A total drought, year after year.

No explaining it really. They just don’t like us :(

We cracked Pomona this year. The only one I know of us never cracking is Princeton, Harvard/Yale haven’t been in a very long time, but just this year we’ve gotten Cornell, Columbia, Brown, MIT, Northwestern, Caltech, a ton of NYUs and a ton of Berkeleys

Oh, we had Stanford this year, too

Well our head of college counseling lied about one kid’s application… and the rest is history.

Any Ivy besides Cornell and now Yale!
We got Yale this year, as well as a record 12 into Northwestern and 6 into Chicago (many of them are overlapped) Everybody who got into both chose Northwestern.

all of the top 25 universities have received people from our school

No one from my (old) high school has ever been accepted to a top twenty five school. Less than ten have ever attended a top fifty school (both universities and LACs). And that’s in 57 years.

The ONLY American university my school got students in is VCU. Probably graduating class only 60-70% goes to university, only about 10% goes out of Bangkok to do it. (International school in Thailand).

Yale.

We have kids every year who get into one or more of HPSM, but no Yale. Never in the living memory of the school. Not even one.
