Colleges that my counselor picked out for me are
Cornell
rice
emory
u mich
ga tech
to just label the reach schools.

I am applying ED for Cornell, CALS Biology

Honestly, what is my chance

And what is my chance on other schools(emory, u mich, ga tech)

You can save a confused senior with a reply!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you have a decent chance at all your reach schools. i wouldn’t worry too much… except that your standardized tests are mediocre, and your grades are subpar.

err…i’d beg to differ
each year, ur gpa is dropping considerably, which the admission officers will certainly not like
unless you have a VERY good reason for it, doubt u’ll get into any of the reach schools.

I know a kid who got into Cornell ED, who had a 33 ACT, about a billion Extracurricular activities and a 99 average (weighted I assume), so hope this helps.

like he said, downward trend is never good- if u had that gpa reversed your spot would be much more likely…i think u’ll get into at least one of ur other schools- but cornells an ivy so its a tossup- work on ur scores and getting that up, its the only thing in ur hand as of now BEST OF LUCK TO YOU =)
