Did i get your attention?
I am an international IB student and am currently a rising junior. Pre med is my choice right now but i am not sure about the details. I moved to England when i was 13 from South Asia. I do not need Financial Aid.

Rank: top 5% GPA: These are estimations. I have no Bs.. a few A- though. We do not have GPAs. Again, this is a guess.. it could be higher.. not lower.
Freshman:3.63 Sophmore:3.7 Junior:3.85
As you can see, clear Upward Trend. Courseload is crazy coarse load as an IB student.

Extra Curricular:
-President of Cultural Club
-President of International Relations Club
-Secretary of Asian Club
-Empowered Student Partnership Member
-Sophmore Grade Rep. to Student Council
-Tech Crew,Debate Club
-Good Cricket and Ping Pong player.

Awards: Not that many .. after i moved, did not really get adjusted for a while. Couple of Math, Art awards here and there.

Research Experience: Did some research with a doctor in the summer at Margaret Hospital. I think it was a good experience.

Essays/Recs should be good!!

Please Chance me for the following schools:

JHU(ED)-slight reach
U. of Mich-high match
U of Chicago-reach
Washington U.-high match

Rice U.-reach
Emory-high match
NYU-match
U. of Toronto- don't know

Wow! I would love to be in your situation. I hope you could get into those schools with stats like yours! I think you have the best chances at UM, Washington University, and Rice. I hope this helps. Also if you could please look at my thread to rate my chances. Thanks.

You seem like you're pretty personable and not exactly the typical Asian (which is great for college admissions!). I like your ECs and you make your courseload sound hard at least. SAT is a slight weakness. Intl w/ no money needed is an immense boost. Chances:

JHU(ED) - Low Reach/High Match
U. of Mich - Match
U of Chicago - Reach
Washington U. - Low Reach (probably waitlist and then acceptance)
Cornell - Reach
Rice U. - Low Reach
Emory - High Match
NYU - Match
U. of Toronto - Low Match

I have a strong feeling you'll make your ED anyway, so you won't even have to worry about those other apps! Good luck!

ok, time to step up to the plate and show wowow some love here.

JHU(ED) - reach

i would suggest adding some safeties, unless you purposely were not planning on applying to safeties. good luck wow.

lol finally thx chubeebo for the much love. i desperately wish i can get into JHU because i am not really excited to go through the other apps and essays.

Hola wowowow! Thanks for chancing me! Now, I shall chance you in return.

I'm gonna point out that you miscalculated your GPA. If you have no Bs so far and all As (A- or higher), you have a 4.0 UW GPA. Congrats. Your SAT is good, but your CR is slightly on the weaker side ... but it's still OK to keep. Your volunteer work is also highly impressive. Your ECs are decent ... but they seem to emphasize culture a bit too much. You also demonstrate leadershp in your clubs ... but be warned that your leadershp positions may be slightly overdone. There were some cases this year where Yale chose to reject people who were presidents of 3+ clubs ... just to point it out. l like how you have Cricket/Ping Pong ...

Also, if you're from the UK, you should also consider taking the GCSEs and to attain several Grade As at the A-Level testing ... it shows up really well in US College Admissions, because the GCSE A-Levels are usually considered one year ahead of US standardized tests such as the SAT and ACT.

Chances:
UMich: Slight reach (OOC) -> match if you take the GCSE A-Level
Univ of Chicago: depends on your essays, but your stats are in line with what they look for academically
WUSTL: Slight reach
Cornell: Slight reach
Rice U: Slight reach
Emory: Slight reach
NYU: Match
Univ of Toronto: In (It's not too difficult to get in)
