NO ONE will hire me for part-time

no one seems to want to hire me part-time. I have good grades and internships are in relation to delivering pizzas and selling clothes but I am sure that I'm more intelligent/hard working than those people I see. I'm aiming for wal-mart entry level positionsand I still can't get a job. I put good effort into those application and questionaires...

WHY AM I UNEMPLOYED?

part time = unemployment.
must be dedicated. you know?

are u awkward?

Waitressing is more flexible and tips can be good.

nothing like that, I don’t even get an interview. so how could they even see my awkwardness lol

seriously applied to two vons…got absolutely no replied from them

Flirt with the manager.

Few people are hiring unskilled laborers in this economy.

I personally had much better luck applying to positions in which I have little competition. Namely, those are the ones that really do require one or more of my abilities. For me, it was some uber-geeky position, like sysadmin or software development.

You should see if there are any jobs in which you can leverage a similar advantage. For example, if you’re good with writing, perhaps be a tutor.

but i have no experience at all you know what I mean? I mean who wants to hire a person with no experience into a specialized position…=\ gah i need a summer job though…

There are such things as entry level jobs…Even for technical positions, there is granularity ie. you can get hired as a “new intern”

Just go for it. Make sure people know you want a job and that you’re qualified.
