No Pass grading.

<p>So.. I just got my grades for my third quarter at UCSD as a Freshman, and I have a "No Pass" grade in a general ed course not related to my major. I'm in the process of contending it, but assuming the worst, how terrible does something like that look on a transcript? I want to transfer in a year to UCLA or Berkeley, and I feel like my record is permanently tainted. How screwed am I?</p>
