No "Permanent Address"...?

My parents have put our house up for sale and it's currently under contract; however, we don't know where we're moving yet, and wherever we DO move won't be our permanent home.

We have a PO Box in the city in which I attend school since it's the only place that's relatively permanent for us.

My question is this... Is it okay to put a PO Box address as my "Permanent Address" on my college apps?

The answer is probably completely obvious, but I want to have SOME sort of reassurance..

Thanks :)

That should be fine, they just want to know how to contact you. They know what area you went to school in from your transcripts.

If you're applying as "in-state," a PO Box probably won't be sufficient. Your current home address is currently your "permanent address." Give the PO box separately as your mailing address. Your new home will be your new permanent address, even if you don't intend to live there forever.
