Is it likely that if you havent gotten a phone call you are rejected?

this whole phone call thing is really scaring me....i hope i get one =/

I havent gotten one either

No, you're not rejected... They might also not have done your app yet.

My D did not get a call last year, but was still accepted, so stop sweating it.

I called CMU Admissions a few days ago to check on things.

They said that letters would go out mid-March with the financial aid letter maybe a week later. They said nothing about phone calls.

I got a mail instead of a phone call, maybe coz im an international..

Greetings! I just wanted to let you know that the phone calls some students received, were not correlated with an admission decision. Basically, we have a student calling program at Carnegie Mellon which connects some of our student workers with perspective students/applicants. During the winter months, while the Admission Committees are reading, our student workers call perspective students to follow up on any application materials that may be missing or to ask them if they have any specific questions about the university. Please either check your mail or the "Where Am I in the Process" site for your Admission/Financial Aid status. Good luck with your college selection process.
