Hey guys, I’m a little worried right now. I applied for early action, but I didn’t get any confirmation from the university letting me know that they have received the application. I also don’t have the details to a portal whereas I do with Northeastern and Notre Dame (I applied to these two for EA as well). Should I be worried?
I’m sure everything is fine, but I would call admissions. The phone number is 413-545-0222. Also, check the email account you are using for college admissions, and check the SPAM folder as well.
My daughter received 2 emails. The first was simply an acknowledgement from admissions. The subject was “UMASS Amherst Application Acknowledgement”. It took approximately 2 weeks from submitting the app until this email was sent by admissions.
The second email took an additional 2 weeks to arrive, and it contained the information needed to setup the Spire (portal) account. The subject was “Your UMass Amherst Computer Account”.

Thank you so much @Themclos! Do you possibly know of UMass’s admissions email account where I can email them instead? I’m an international student, and calling might pose an issue due to the crazy time difference.
