Should I be concerned that I haven't heard back from Steinhardt? I sent in my materials for Vocal Performance, and I sent it a few days late, but I received a confirmation e-mail that they received everything and that they were going to review them. I understand we're on break and everything, but I was thinking of shooting them a e-mail asking them about my status. Should I e-mail them or just wait it out?
Also, is there a major cut after this phase, or does everyone get a chance for a final audition? Sorry if it's a dumb question, my head is just all over the place right now. X:

do you have your NYU Albert account yet?

If you don’t have it yet, then wait till the end of next week. You can then check your app status on Albert.

Don’t email them, because they’re not going to respond back. They’re all on break right now. Just wait till you receive your Albert account and after the deadline they will start updating your application status.

how to check my app status on albert? i found nowhere…

Yeah, I don’t have my albert account yet. :(

You will be sent a confirming e-mail and letter that your app has been received that will include your ID number and give you info to create an acct on Albert.

As for getting anything from the vocal performance department, I would not expect to hear from them before classes resume on January 23 . Some members of the department may come in around January 14 to start rehearsals for the spring musical. D is a senior and several of her friends assist in the office. They are all away.
