No Schlorship Information

My son was accepted several weeks ago but did not receive any schlorship information in his package. He is clearly qualified for the IU Distinction schlorship. I called admissions today and they asked me if he had attended more than one high school. He had attended two different schools. I was informed that in this case his schlorship application would have to be manually reviewed and it would take several more weeks to hear from them. Just thought I would pass this along in case anyone else has had this problem. He is a OSS.

Interesting, Gatorman. Thanks for the information and good luck to your son.

Just out of curiosity, is there a separate form that needs to be filled out to apply for this scholarship--or is it based upon solely GPA and/or test scores?

Thanks in advance for any info on this.

Calcruzer, the IU Distinction scholarship is one of the new scholarships I talked about in this thread:

You don't need to apply for it, all incoming freshmen will be considered based on their ACT or SAT test scores and cumulative high school gpa.

Thanks, AimHigh

Man, I meet those requirements but I'm not an incoming freshman anymore. That sucks..$8000 a year would have been nice.

AnotherSunnyDay,
I agree totally! We could have used that amount very much, too! Too bad they aren't retroactive! :)

p.s. I even checked to make sure about the retroactive part... :(
