I sent my December SAT scores to Yale using the free reports available. Collegeboard says they were sent on the 20th of December. I have had my Eli account for a week now but it still says no scores received. I emailed Yale but didn’t get any response.
Happen to anyone else? >:D<
everyone is on break. if they remain outstanding, Yale will contact you. Don’t fret.
Your Eli account is not updated in real time; it’s manually updated. So, a person in the Admissions Office needs to download your scores, print out a copy for your paper file, add a pdf of it to your electronic file, and then update your Eli account. With 30,000 applications that takes time – weeks in fact. If your Eli account has not been updated by the 3rd week of January, then I would notify Admissions to find out what happened. At the moment though, I would give them time to sort it all out.
Thanks @T26E4 and @gibby
It says the same for me btw!
Make sure your name with Collegeboard/ACT is exactly the same as the name you used for your admission app. https://college.harvard.edu/frequently-asked-questions#
"Though you may have ordered your scores, it can sometimes take a couple of weeks for your scores to be officially sent and processed in our office.
If your official scores do not show in your status page after a couple of weeks, please double check with the testing agency to make sure they were sent. Once you have confirmed the delivery, please check the name and personal information used on your scores. If this varies, even slightly, from what you have listed on your application, your scores will be automatically stored in a separate entry in our database. If this is the case, you can send an email to scores@fas.harvard.edu listing the discrepancy in your name/info, and your scores will be merged with your application file."
Still not there :-S
@Cali711 you meant Yale? I can’t find any email address to contact Yale.
@elaras Did your portal get updated?
@House17 My mistake - my D’s application to Harvard had the issue regarding her ACT score filed under a different name (her middle initial used on her application but not on her ACT score). Her Yale application did not have the same problem. However, it may be something for you to inquire about in your Yale application.
My name’s right I’m sure of it. I’ll give them a call. Thanks a lot!
@House17 Tell me what they say when you call - mine still aren’t showing and I’m international so it’s hard to call
Yale has been having widespread issues with downloading people’s scores. They have some issues getting them downloaded from the testing agencies. So it will be a while until they get everything sorted out for everybody. I’m personally waiting until like the last week of January to check in again if I don’t see anything updated. But I called today, and everybody’s scores has issues.
I got them on the portal. @elaras I’m an international too but I called; they didn’t give me any information. The scores appeared yesterday though. @dancelance is right, you’ll get them soon. Don’t worry!
