Am I just missing them or is there no place for you to list your activities/work experience/whatever??? Are they not considered in admission, or do you fill them out later like the short answers?
Thanks!

When my son applied last year, he emailed Admissions a resume that listed all activities and accomplishments soon after submitting his application online. I think I read on a Pitt CC thread that students could do that.
@sporkplug, The Short Answer Questions are a great place for you to highlight any extracurricular activities that have had a big impact on you. Those questions and a form to answer them will be emailed to you shortly after you submit your application.

@hailtopitt1787 @Putterer thank you!
My sons both sent academic/activities resumes with each of their applications. You can find samples on line.
While we will accept a resume if you send it to us, we strongly recommend that you use the Short Answer Questions to highlight any important extracurricular activities instead.

@hailtopitt1787 Is that your way of saying it wouldn’t impact the application in any real way?
@cheeki2breeki, A resume or full list of extracurricular activities is not essential in the review process. If an extracurricular activity has had a significant impact, we encourage you to take advantage of our Short Answer Questions to detail this information.

My son completed the PITT app last weekend. All sections were showing up in green (complete) so he hit Send.
But neither one of us ever saw the short questions. Where are they on the app? Are they voluntary, as my son’s app was submitted with out them? Can he re-open the app to complete them?
@PAO2008, The short answer questions are not part of the initial application. A link to the short answer questions form will be emailed to you within a week. They are not required, but we do encourage applicants to send them in.

Thank you.
