<p>I see that the mechanical engineering undergrad program is already on the closed program list for fall 2014, even though you can't submit a transfer application until January 1st. Is it safe to assume that this means mechanical (and aerospace, biomed, etc.) are closed to transfers as a general policy?</p>
<p>I'd like to apply for Purdue. If that's the case, though, is there anything I can do about it, or do I just have to look for other schools?</p>
