Should I be worried?

Yes, You should be worried about your spring session. Normally, you need to have atleast 3.1-3.4 for bus.

wait tag? nvm

Don’t feel bad, I haven’t heard yet either. UCR just doesn’t like us, I guess. Ah well, I’d rather go to UCSC anyways… :)

worried no…nervous yes.

Put the shoe on the other foot, at least you haven’t been rejected yet :O)

I too am on the lower scale of g.p.a…I think that means we will be among the last to be notified. Just have to wait and see…

anyone know, if uc riverside has rejected anyone with at least a 3.0 for transfers?

TAG stand for 100%.

Is there a chance I can get reject with TAG? what speific gpa I need to maintain.

@Season- Every school has its own GPA you have to sustain. I would imagine UCR is at least a 3.0 though…Falling under the GPA agreed upon in your TAG will disqualify you…

nah, dont listen to kingdom, he doesn’t know anything about TAG at UCR. lol srry dude.

Since i have also tag UCR, and here is there policy

Congratulations, the University of California, Riverside is pleased to guarantee your admission for
the Fall 2012 quarter through the Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG).

In order for you to maintain your guarantee of admission, complete all courses listed as in progress
and planned on your TAG application with grades of ‘C’ or better and maintain the minimum gpa
required for your major. Please contact us if you make any changes to your academic
schedule.

College of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences: 2.40
Psychology/Psychology-Law & Society: 2.7
School of Business Administration: 2.50 ( <------ NOT SURE 2.7 OR 2.5)
College of Natural & Agricultural Sciences: 2.70

http://my.ucr.edu/admissions/Pages/pathsAdmission.aspx#transfer

it said 2.7 for business.

since 2.7 is the minimum for ucr business, do you think i have a good shot with 3.08 business administration, no tag but all pre req done by this semester

@Fer- Well excuse me, haha. Apparently I haven’t researched UCR at all- I have no intention of enrolling their nor was I TAG eligible.

@OP- Regardless of the fact, there is a minimum GPA you need to sustain, so just make sure you keep your grades up! UC’s don’t really want to see a downward trend in grades…

For you guys who need help, I can use my stats as reference. I just got accepted so it might help ease your worries

CCC GPA: 2.72
UC GPA: 3.092
No TAG

First Major:Business Admin. (rejected)
Second Major:Business Econ. (Accepted)

I hope this helps you guys out!

I think even UCR’s business program is starting to get more competitive. A 3.1 might not be enough, but you never know, UCR did state they look at othr things rather than just GPA ;)

Good luck!

Yeah u should worried Steve.

@gametime5-did you finish all your pre req or are you in the process of finishing it this semester?

@stevololpb18 For Business Admin. I have almost all my pre reqs, just one of the classes I;m taking this semester is one that i’m finishing up for the major, but it dosen’t matter now since I got rejected from that department, lol. Even more strange, the major I got accepted to, I don’t have 2 of the pre reqs for.

why don’t you tag? you should have get in.

i hope i get accepted to my alternative major at the least, congrats though

@stevolo Whats your alternative major? And thanks!

as a matter of fact, I feel very nervous, even though I have tag, but not sure if it will get recisn it since i fell under 3,0 after fall.
