GPA: 3.42
SAT 2190 - Cr -800 Math-740 Writing -650
Math SAT 2 - 770 , Japanese -690

For anyone who’s followed my other posts, this is a HUGE Deal!

Got in, somehow. Weighted gpa of 3.08 1580 sat/ 22 act major (political science) first generation, bunch of extra curriculars but I’m guessing what saved me was my upward trend from my horrible freshmen year and my first essay.

i got denied to UCSC, but i mainly want to get into UCR so badly.
Freshman year: 2.7 gpa
Sophomore year: 2.9 gpa
Junior year: 3.4 gpa
senior year: 3.3 gpa

SAT score of 1380

Honestly, I could not have taken AP classes, because I kept moving from 1 school to another(i have been to 3 high schools total, 2 from california) My current school is a private school, which at first was just very stressful, especially since I have 8 periods. and with classes i would rather replace with AP classes (world geography, and junior religion). Besides the school doesn’t offer much AP anyway. More like 3 classes.

I hope I got in, ive been waiting for sometime now.

Still waiting for UCR as well. :/

I’m still waiting too lol…not that I care though. I got into UC Irvine but I’m curious as to why I haven’t gotten a decision yet. Oh well.

Thank God there’s at least two UC’s (Merced being the other) that are taking incoming freshman at a seemingly higher than 10-15% acceptance rate.

I simply cannot believe how many solid students are being rejected by nearly every CSU & UC this year.

What a sad state of affairs.

SwishBig: what are your stats?
