My son had his transcript load and got his congratulations message, his good friend however hasn’t had any of this happen and I just want to be encouraging and share that this friend went to the same school, same gpa, test scores and also has great extra curricular activities. I think he will get in!! I think they are maybe loading everything in batches!
What is your sons and his friends stats? I have semi-average stats but I was confident in my ECs… I really thought I had a chance!

3.79 gpa, honors calculus, honors english, act 27, football, basketball, track. Lots of volunteer hours. Friend has same gpa and tests, also good extra curricular activities. Private school so no ap classes, just honors.

@uwhusky1997 i go to a really competitive boarding school so my gpa isn’t very good: 3.3 but act 30 captain of my water polo team, 4 year varsity swimmer, honors calc, honors stat, honors bio, honors ecology. pretty good essay i think. oos in california but boarding school in NJ

Well, my stats are pretty low. 3.64, 16xx SAT, but lots of EC’s that display leadership. Also, I have had 4 years of a varsity sport. I thought my ECs would make up for my low stats.
I thought so too and I’m surprised since you’re in state. I got in OSU with a scholarship so I’d be pretty surprised if I didn’t get into UW especially since they are supposedly holistic and I think my only downside is my GPA
Yeah, residents are supposed to have a high acceptance rate! I guess I’ll have to stay calm and positive for now

I was assuming the same thing. Seems like the system is different and varies between people, I’m trying not to jump to conclusions but it’s almost impossible!
Yeah, it’s very hard not to jump to conclusions when I keep seeing everyone getting their transcripts and congratulations messages.
Just recently found out two kids from my high school can see their transcripts. Now I’m even more worried.
The only thing keeping me from stressing out is the assumption that transcripts are loaded in batches just like the letters are sent in batches. (Not sure if they send all of one area at once or not). Still 12 days left though, so I’m hoping for the best.
