"nod" problem

for anyone who took the March SAT, the question that I am asking is the "patriotic" passage... The question was like: the "nod" (line __) indicates the authors...? What was the answer to that question

something about the author briefly acknowledged/recognized

i think the answer is phrased like "passing acknowledgement" or something, i just remember the word passing in it, is that the right answer?

yup. that's what i got.

hmm i thought it was reserved disapproval or something like that

but i see how i am wrong

yes! 10 char

another question, would the author of passage two characterize the biographer's book as excessively detailed?

no... i put the one with undeservingly lauding or something.

lol, hi kyzan.

i think thast waht i put, idk if its right though

crap, the answer's unduly laudatory, i didnt know what unduly meant but now i lookd it up and thats definitely the right answer

yes again!!

did you guys put "to use as transitions" for the one about why the two authors used questions in their essays?

yep, thast what i got

hi roamorse!! i see that you are pwning your SATs :D

and what was the answer to the sentence completion sentence about "the only _____ in the desert was a lone rock sticking out" or something like that

relief? or something like that. can you name the choices?

i put regular or something , dont quite remember

I put relief too! I hope it was relief.

there was one sentence completion about whaling: was it restitution or moratorium?
