Nomination Problem

I received an LOA from the Naval Academy several months ago. However, at the time I was sure that I wanted USAFA or USMA. I received 3 nomnations - 2 to Air Force and 1 to West Point. I recently re-evaluated what I really wanted to do in my life and where my personality would fit best, and I realized that the Marine Corps is for me. A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by the Naval Academy asking if I was interested in a Vice Presidential nomination, but seeing as how there are only 5 of those in the nation, I am not too hopeful.

If anyone has any advice, please let me know. Thanks!

Make sure USNA knows you ONLY want USNA. Cal them every day if necessary to convince them. Haunt your BGO and Regional Director with emails. If you are even qualified for Vice Presidential consideration, that is very significant. HOWEVER, I think they will not waste one if they think you may not use it!

Good Luck!

If I qualified for the nomination and realy wanted to do this, I would apply. Even if you dont think you stand a chance you may get lucky. You could atleast say you tried.
