I JUST GOT ONE FROM MY DISTRICT AND IM SO HAPPYYY AHHHH!!! so technically how close am i to getting an acceptance?

awesome job man! Don't you have an LOA? If so, then sounds like you're in if medical is clear. Congrats!

Congratulations! :) Sounds really good! I'm sure you are walking on air ~

Momof1

Wow,

Congratulations! I think walking on air is probably just the right description for how you feel right now. Enjoy it.

Now that the holidays are over, I'll bet the appointments will start coming out. It's possible that Admissions is waiting for 7th semester grades before making decisions on some.

Congrats! That is awesome. It took me about a month to get mine, but the holidays were thrown in there so it may take you a little longer. I wanted to sleep with mine under my pillow ;), I bet you have a similar reaction. They are beautiful.

"awesome job man! Don't you have an LOA?"

im not sure if it was an LOA but i did get something that said i was academically qualified.

Thank you all Im so happy!!! I found out when I looked online but do they send you an envelope or anything?

And yes Im walking on air!!!!

an loa isnt the same as the academically qualified. i got a letter that said i was academically qualified for an appointment, but have not received one. very different from an loa.

Awesome. The letter that you received is most likely a letter of qualification, which basically states that you are qualified to attend the academy. Around 2200 candidates usually qualify each year and 1200-1300 are admitted. Congratulations!

i got my nomination today as well. I am pretty happy, with my LOA and nomination in hand, it's time to hit the gym. Now I just need DoDMERB to come through and I'm good to go. TMac, how is the process coming? Did you get a nomination?
