non-classical vocal programs?

<p>Any suggestions for non-classical vocal programs? My daughter would like a contemporary or jazz program. I've just started researching, but most programs seen to be opera based.</p>

<p>I agree absolutely 100% w/Berklee. The school calls itself the largest contemporary music school in the US, I believe.</p>

<p>UNT University of North Texas has a great Jazz Vocal program and is more selective than Berklee.(thats a good thing)</p>

<p>also the university of the arts in philadelphia has a jazz/comtemporary voice program.</p>
