Can someone please help me and list colleges that have bathrooms inside the dorm rooms where both roommates can share
That’s a pretty broad question - I don’t think anyone has a comprehensive list like that.
I think some schools will have those for upperclassmen but not freshman. I think You would be better off going to the websites for the student housing of the schools you are interested in
Not a great reason to pick a college unless you have health issue. But at any rate, there are too many schools to just ask like that. What part of country? Why don’t you pick a list of schools you are interested in and then start with school housing websites? Big schools often have several options - like suites or on campus apartments. Would any school with suite housing (one non-hall bath shared by 2-4 students) work? If so, you’ll have plenty of options
Another thing to keep in mind is that at most schools the dorms have been built over a period of time (by which I mean decades) with varying floor plans and designs. So even at one college you may have several different styles and floor plans. And schools may vary in how they assign those dorm rooms. So I agree you need to look at the websites of specific schools and figure out what types of housing they have and how they are assigned. If this is a huge deal breaker for you then maybe you should go somewhere where you arrange your own off campus housing and find your own roommate.
Most colleges have dorms with different bathroom arrangements. Pick a college, go to their website and read details about each dorm arrangement. It sounds like you don’t want a traditional hall style dorm. My son’s school has some dorms that are “hotel style” with a private bath for the room. The cost difference is over $1000 per year. I did find someone had a made a list of quiet private bathrooms on campus. When I was a high school senior I would have wanted that list but as a college student I got over my phobia. I can’t find the official school list but there’s a list on Reddit under that school’s Reddit page. It has about 30 replies so you are not alone with your concerns. This page won’t let me link to Reddit.
