Non-Credit Courses on a Transfer Application

I would like to transfer colleges next year. I am considering taking classes this summer to have a better looking application but am unable to take classes for credit. I found classes on Coursera given by fantastic universities (Penn, Yale, Duke, Etc.) and was wondering if taking these non-credit classes would have any effect on a transfer application. Would they enhance my chances? Do they look good or not mean anything?
Thanks!

They do not count at all for your transfer application.

What matters is your credit coursework. Surely there are some for-credit courses offered online through your own home-state public university system, or through your closest community college. Look at those.
