The deadlines for Boston University and University of Chicago is Feb 1 and I can’t get a hold of my dad. We don’t really talk and I’ve told him the deadline is today for non custodial CSS. He hasn’t submitted it yet and the deadline just passed. I’m going to try to get a hold of him later today to submit it. What should I tell the two universities?
Send each of the schools an email telling them about the delay. i imagine that they’re used to this. They may allow more time…or not.
When is the last time you contacted your dad?
I talked to my dad 2 days ago about the deadline, but I initially told him about it early January.
I thought University of Chicago didn’t require the non-custodial parent information…or the Profile. Is this optional there? I thought their new initiative a year ago made them a FAFSA only school with a short form of their own…for, just situations like yours…where getting info from a non-custodial oarwnt was difficult,
Hoping someone can tell me if I’m wrong about this.
ETA from the university of Chicago website. I could be wrong…but I don’t see anything here about the Profile. Where do you see that?
Are you an international student? Although unless I’m missing something…there is nothing for University Of Chicago international students about the Profile either.
Please show the reference where U of Chicago requires the Profile.

Ok…on this it says you can substitute the Profile for,the University of Chicago worksheet. But why would you do that? The Profile has a fee…and the worksheet is free!
Also, the University of Chicago deadline on this link is February 15. Am I looking at old data?
