Hi! This question is for current students at Wake- are the non-drinking activities, (ballroom dancing, meditation group, ultimate frisbee, fencing club, mystery dinner, ect) well attended? My son is very interested in all these fun things, but worries that everyone else will think they are "fruity". Thanks for any responses!

I'm not sure that I understand. I mean, all of the extra-curricular clubs and such are alcohol free. Pretty much the only place that you're going to find alcohol is at the parties. And, yes, a lot of the club activities are well-attended. On your list, ballroom and ultimate frisbee are both really big clubs on campus. Pretty much everyone is involved in at least a few clubs.

Thanks, Ginneyvere. I knew you would know the answer! I made the mistake of going on the transfer section, and a few people were complaining that everything revolves aroung Greek life at Wake, that the campus events are not well attended. They can't wait to leave. I know these are the same people who may not be happy anywhere. I was just "double checking" and since you have been right on about everything else, I'll take your word for it! (Do guys like the ballroom dancing, too?)
