Incoming Berkeley student here. Wondering if anyone could give me advice in getting a consultant internship at Berkeley for people not going to Haas, knowing that they probably give preference to Haas kids.

They give preference to kids with High GPA’s who’ve taken relevant finance/accounting/econ courses regardless of major (as long as its some business/econ/engineering). So, get a high GPA and take finance/accounting/econ courses, and you’ll be fine…GPA is almost everything in getting your foot in the door in as many places as possible.

So what courses would you recommend?

UGBA 1102a- Intro to financial Accounting
UGBA 103- Finance
Econ 100a- Intermediate Microeconomic theory
Econ 100b- Intermediate Macroeconomic theory

Hmm, would taking them P/NP affect recruitment?

Yes take them all for a letter grade they always ask for a transcript
