How do students submit non-teacher LOR’s during the college application process? At our HS, teachers upload their LOR to Naviance. How does it work for adults outside of the high school (i.e. employers, research mentors, professors) who wouldn’t have Naviance?
I’m a teacher, but a few years ago I wrote a letter for a family friend who attends a different school. I emailed it to his guidance counselor, and she replied that she would take care of it.

They can upload letters directly to Common App.
Not all of C’s schools use the Common App; at least one uses only coalition, and one has their own.
IME, they either mail them directly to the school or provide them to the student in a sealed/signed envelope that the student submits.
Please don’t mail it to the students. Anything that’s mailed to the college from the student loses all credibility.
