My friend at my very competitive school got in to Computer Science with 2020 SAT (1380 M/CR) and top 23%.

I got in--and I'm in the top 23% D: But still, yay!

Suprisingly got into archictecture with top 11% and 1350 CRM SAT score.

That's awesome! Congratulations (: I have a sibling who is a freshman this year at UT taking architecture, and she seems to really like it.

^ nice, I really can't wait to start next year. How long does she spend on her work?

Nobody gets into computer science, only pre-computer science- unless it's the honor program. Only 50% of pre-CS make it through to CS.

muffler - Not exactly sure, but I do know that she spends many hours in the studio, sometimes working until late at night. All of her projects, etc. so far seem fun though!

Oh that's what I expected. Funny thing is that I actually love late nighters, especially anything where I get to build something.

Surely you'll enjoy it then! Artsy stuff is definitely fun, IMO. I'm majoring in Predesign. Have you done housing and all that junk yet? I'm nervous about housing now because I just paid the $50 deposit to reserve my spot in line. I didn't do it earlier because I wasn't even sure if I would be accepted ): Now I'm unsure about whether I will get the dorm of my choice or not. Oh well; that's life!
