Applying to College

I have 1) graduated from a US curriculum high school, 2) took a gap year, 3) went to a university in the UK and was subsequently forced to withdraw due to grade problems.
I now want to apply to a university in the US, how should I proceed?

  • Who should I ask for recommendations?
  • Should I apply as a transfer student or first time?
  • I have all relevant materials necessary for applying to a US college - high school diplomat, SAT, AP scores, financial affidavit, etc.

How long did you attend, a semester or year? You would be studying in the US as an international student?

I attended the full year and earned credits for two modules (classes) - I don’t know what that amounts to in the US credit system but it’s 40 credits UK standards. And yes, I would be applying as an international student.
