Non-traditional Student Aid

I have a friend, 22 years old (23 in December) that is trying to get a 2 year degree at a community college. where can i find scholarships and other forms of aid for her online? she lives in Ohio, and is a decent portion native American (something over 25%). any help would be very appreciated.

She is eligible to file FAFSA the same as any student. If her parent income is low enough (at 22 she is still considered a dependent for FA purposes unless she meets one of the other criteria for being considered independent) then she can receive federal financial aid. Age is not a consideration (other than for whether she is considered dependent/independent - 24 is when she is considered independent). If the income is not low enough for grant aid she should still be eligible for Federal Stafford loans.
