Non traditional students scholarships

I am an untraditional student, age 50, returning to school. I am a Jr. now, and feel discriminated against, as I cannot qualifyfor any scholarships because of my age. I am a full time student, and need assistance. HELP.

Private scholarships are, by and large, not worth pursuing anyway. Typical university merit aid is aimed at incoming freshmen with high stats that will boost the incoming class’ academic standards.

You should be eligible for federal grants and loans, depending on your income. You may also be eligible for state aid, depending on the state you live in. Other universities may award scholarships based on your financial need.
