<p>Is anyone able to give concrete examples of older freshmen at Harvard? How old re they and what are they stories? I heard that there are plenty of them in campus but it remains sort of the shady world.</p>
<p>There are a few, but not many. Most non-traditional students at Harvard study at Harvard Extension School which offers undergraduate and graduate degrees for older students. Other options for non-traditional students are Columbia General Studies and Yale Eli Whitney program.</p>
<p>There are plenty… some from the army, some who were sick, some who started businesses before, it really doesn’t matter how old you are. Oldest freshman in Harvard history I think was 60 something.</p>
