right now im a current student at a community college. I have 2 C's that both are NON-transferable classes and my gpa right now my transferable GPA is at 3.1

When submitting your grades to a university do they see the non-transferable grades? and does it hinder acceptance if they see any c's on it?

From what I understand they don't even look at your non-UC transferable classes. I heard they just line them out...but I suspect if they do the application process online, they just disregard it.

Actually it is quite the opposite. When you transfer only the transferable GPA will follow you to the university. Different UC's and different departments admit students differently. Many UC's and departments use your overall GPA to admit students.

Below is a link that you should take a look at. If you look under the GPA section, it shows all the different UC's and how they use GPA for admission. Some schools use overall GPA, some use UC transferable GPA. It just depends.
