Non-Transferable Course, would it affect admission?

I'm taking a marketing class, even though it's not transferable, would it hurt my chances for admissions if i received anything lower than a C? Because it kinda show that i got lazy and not being able to keep my grades up??

it's transferable to CSU but not UC

It depends on the UC and what major you are applying to at a UC. Some UCs and majors in UCs will either use your overall GPA or your UC transferable GPA.

Why don't you drop the class?

^^ i need the units to be full time student (financial aid reasons)

Is it too late to take the class as pass/fail? I also think you can collect your full financial aid benefits if you hold onto the class for atleast 3/4 the semester and then drop it. I'm not 100% positive about that one though. You might want to ask your financial aid people about that.

nancie: This is from another post, but I think it will help with your question.
