Non-transferrable courses?

I have a quick question..

When a community college student submits his official transcript to say, UCLA or Berkley, does the admissions committee even view the non-transferrable courses (introductory math and or english)? Are they even on the transcript that is sent to them?

I know the courses are non-transferrable and supposedly don't count against me when applying, but I'm just curious.

Thanks again

Berkeley counts ALL grades unless you apply to their college of letters and science. If you apply to the college of L&S, then I believe the non-transferable courses aren’t even sent with the transcript.

^ ur partially correct, Berkeley does count ALL of them with the excepion of the colleges of L&S, but when u send in the transcript it has EVERY course you have ever taken, the non-transferable just wont be considered (cept for Berk).

So you’re saying even if you apply to L&S they’re still going to see that B in underwater basketweaving? Since it won’t be considered they will just brush it off?

Also, aren’t the official transcripts only sent after you’ve been admitted?

Yes and yes
