Is it difficult for nonworkstudy people to find employment? if no, what are some good places?

i only applied to one last quarter, and i didnt get hired. (i have work study, but it wasnt a work study job).

basically any job thats not for the school itself would be non-work study. that pretty much leaves ASUCLA (anything in ackerman, campus events, and probably a few i dont know) and Jamba Juice.

usually things like jobs in the library, computer labs, front desk, etc can be used for work study. also note you dont HAVE to have work study to work at these jobs.

not true - your work study won't be taken into account in your hiring (as I dont' think it should anyway), but you can always have the employer (whoever it is) submit a form to the work study office, and they will accept your work study.

Citan,

Access and the front desks of all the res halls are almost always hiring.

Trust me, I used to conduct interviews for Access...a lot.

what's Access?

yes, i second citan's question

Access are the people who monitor traffic in and out of the high rise dorms from 9 PM to 5 AM.
