nonbinding early admission

I have a question... I wasn't 100% sure where to post it... UT Plan II has unbinding early admission.. It says you could apply to as many colleges as you wanted to early.
However, what would other colleges, who DO have binding early admission, think??? It technically wouldn't matter, I suppose, because you could refuse UT. But would this be breaking the rules of colleges who say you can't apply to more than their school early? It almost seems not, because the reason those schools say that is in reference to other binding-admission schools, right? Confused....

read the terms of the college you want to early action to. if it's still unclear, call the admissions office about their EA policy.

for example, stanford's single choice early action allowed me to apply to public schools early.
