Noncustodial Parent Form

Okay, so the JHU Financial Aid Office is, like, busy, but I have an extremely important questions that needs to be answered by anyone who can answer.

So I got all my financial aid things out, got my SAR back with great financial aid. Thing is, JHU requires a Noncustodial Parent Form. I've been bugging the office since February about the stupid thing.

I have had no physical contact with my noncustodial parent, EVER. We exchanged approximately ten phone calls and four letters before we completely lost contact with one another. All I know about him is that he's not dead. My mom and I aren't even sure he has the same name anymore.

I really wish to waive the doggone thing. Now that I'm eighteen, I receive no more money from the Social Security office on his behalf (he doesn't pay child support) and so he has no contribution to my life whatsoever.

Should I just call directly, or is that too gauche and being impatient? I really wish that I could not have this issue blow up my entire financial aid!

Any help from anyone?
