NONE of my schools have recieved my fafsa

all the UC's that i've gotten into say they havent got my fafsa when i go to the "financial aid status" part of their website. what should i do?

and also, will it give me less aid now that its late?

When did you submit it? It usually takes around 2 weeks for schools to receive the info. Go to the FAFSA website and check the status: [FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid](http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/FOTWWebApp/follow003.jsp) Confirm that you entered your ssn correctly and that you submitted the 0910 app. as opposed to just updating the 0809 one.

When did you submit it. Schools download the FAFSA periodically by their own schedules. It took 3 weeks for my daughter’s to appear on her school system.

i submitted it 2/17. some shcools have gotten it… it’s just the UCs that havent. my ssn is correct on the fafsa but i did have to change my ssn for the uc application website. maybe that’s it? and shoudl i call the uc shcools for this problem? i’m scared to wait and recieve less aid

You’ll probably need to show your ssn card to a UC to correct it in their system. That is most likely the problem. As long as you take care of it before they award FAFSA-based aid, it shouldn’t hurt you.

I would definitely contact them if you are concerned.

I’m sure the SSN issue is the problem, and you should be able to correct it. Contact them Monday morning to find out what hoops you’ll have to jump through. I’m sure you’re not the first person this has happened to.

thanks for the replies.

does anyone know if there is a UC number i can contact, or do i have to call every individual school?
