<p>I had a few general education-related questions about Singapore I was hoping you guys could answer? :)</p>
<p>-How common are nontraditional college students in Singapore? Btw, In the US "nontraditional" can mean many things: older than 25, living independently from parents, self-supporting with a full-time job, maybe has children, returning for a career change, students who dropped out and are returning, etc.
-Are there specific programs or universities which are meant to cater to nontraditional students there? Are most career pathways still technically available to them (disregarding any inherent discrimination that may exist, whether in terms of ageism or otherwise)
-What are some of the general social views about nontraditional students (and traditional students) in Singapore? Is college generally seen as only meant for very young 18-22 year olds? What about graduate and professional school? Do people sometimes take breaks between undergrad and graduate education like in the US? </p>
