Noob Question- How does one pay for tuition

My parents are kinda lazy when it comes to this stuff and I've been going on URSA and MyUCLA but I don't see a clear area where I pay for tuition. lol
fail...seems like it would be straightforward, i don't want any late fees

Go to URSA and click on the BAR account link.

uhh, so do I pay every month? I see a student account box that says balance 3595 dollars and then a box with different months.
I just got an email saying that I missed some payment but the BAR says it’s on the 20th every month… am i supposed to be figuring this out? Lol none of my friends going to UCLA have done anything about this

i think if your tuition isn’t paid by the 20th of the month then your classes get dropped.

yea right lol. you can pay a few days/a week late without any problem.

for students on financial aid, does your tuition get deducted get deducted automatically from your financial aid (assuming it covers it all)

my bill is is like $3995, and my SRA was like $4248, so will it just get deducted from that?

Yes, tuition gets deducted automatically. If your max credit card payment is 0, then financial aid covered it entirely.

So if my “maximum credit card payment allowed” is 0, do I have to do ANYTHING? Not even go through a few steps to confirm that I’ve checked my BAR account?

nope, no confirmation necessary.

nope. youre set.

eeek. So my “maximum credit card payment allowed” on my BAR account was “0” a few days ago (see above), but now it’s 3995 (or something around that amount). What happened?! I have a Cal Grant of 10302 with a 1800 scholarship from UCLA, if that matters at all.

Mine was about $1,700 a couple of days ago but now went down to $0.

EDIT: Nevermind, I just checked again and it went back up to around $3,500.

I think we should just not worry about it until financial aid gets officially disbursed.
