Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!! Helppp

I tried to register for the June SATs today, but I couldn't because I already registered for the SATIIs on the same testing date. The reason why I didn't want to take the SAT in March or May was because I didn't have time to study for it due to school. Would it be too late if I took the SAT in October or November? And if I do, will I still be eligible for ELC if I get 2100+?

i'm sure you can find a way to still register for the June SAT

No they said that I can't take both the SATII and the SAT on the same day. I've already registered for the SATII not knowing that it's on the same day of the SAT. :(

well yeah. You would have to choose b/w ur SAT IIs and the SAT I.

it might raise an eyebrow or two as to why you waited untill senior fall to take your first SAT, but on the other hand, taking subject tests at the beginning of the school year would probly be very detrimental to your score. If the SATIIs are anything other than foreign languages, math, or writing/lit, I would take them in june.

It will cost extra, but you can change your registration from SAT2 to SAT.

what is ELC?

Not too late, you can take it in October, better to take SAT II subject tests right after the course so take those in June and the SAT in October.

I don't know what ELC is so I can't help you there.

ELC is Eligibility in the Local Context and is for California Students, the top 4% of the class in school.

wait..similar question..
i took sat 1 in march...didn't do really well in them...so i HAVE to retake..
do colleges still think it's strange to take your 2nd sat in senior year?? (sat2s in may, and june..no itme to study..:p)

"It will cost extra, but you can change your registration from SAT2 to SAT."

How do I that?

u can call collegeboard and they will guide u through.
i'm international so can't help on ELC

call collegeboard to change your test and ELC is pretty cool cuz you are gurantteed for some UC's like irvine not sure about SD but definitely not berk and la

I just checked the ELC requirements (<a href="http://www.ucop.edu/sas/elc/requirementsinfo.html#test%5B/url%5D">http://www.ucop.edu/sas/elc/requirementsinfo.html#test</a>) and I didn't see anything about SAT I being required, so I imagine that taking the SAT I in October or November would be fine, but DEFINITELY check with your college counsellor, or call the ELC program office to make sure.

bliss, actually, A LOT of people who don't do well their first time wait and take it again in October of senior year. You'll be in the majority, not the minority.

ooo okay thanks.. just worrid because it seems that most of my friends are retaking in june, and not in the fall.. :)
