Norcal anteaters

how many of you are from norcal?

I'm a prosective Anteater from Norcal, near Davis..haven't submitted SIR yet, though, can't quite decide. I'm hoping there are lots of northerners in the dorms, to keep the campus more alive on weekends---

same here man, same here

A lot of Norcalers were in my tour group a few weeks back. Only one was stereotypically saying "hella" a lot, though.

I'm from norcal too. I hear they say (if ur asian) "BOBOA" instead of "Pearl Milk Tea!" thats 'hella' weird. any1 else know any 'lingo' they have down there? hah

yeah i hella know the lingo down there or sort of :D

@iloveants - It's actually 'boba' :P And boba is the name for only the tapioca, so when ordering a drink, you would have to say something like, "Boba Milk Tea." There are plenty of Tea Shops around the OC and ESPECIALLY the Asian cities in LA County (Diamond Bar, Walnut, Rosemead, Rowland Heights, Puente Hills, and some of West Covina).

hehe thanks i'll keep that in mind. up here we say 'jin zhu nai tsah' as in pearl milk tea instead of 'boba nai tsah.' heh. I love Boba milk tea. its like ambrosia NECTAR OF THE GODS to me. its weird, but i never get sick of it. =/ oh and i am not a fob. :P

Haha. I, too, like to keep it 'oldschool' and get Boba Milk Tea and Thai Tea. Everyone else gets tired of it and reverts to Frappes, Slushes, or other Milk Teas, but I'm loyal to the original bubble teas. :D

Lychee pearl milk tea please!

Jason, by any chance, do you go to Independence HS or Prospect HS?

almond milk tea...

I go to a new high school, Evergreen Valley High. I'm not on the campus anymore, though. I am in this community college program thing.

Aw. Sucks. I live really far away from San Jose and still know a few people over there >_> I was hoping for a coincidence that you may know them or something :P

Hella Hella Hella Hella Hella Hella Hella Hella Hella Hella

Norcal/central valley representin' herre.

That's hecka weird they don't say hella in Socal!

Obviously! We're "hella" norcal, and nothing can stop us, muhaha.

Evergreen.... its either that school or Independence.. i cant remember which... the Mercury news always reports your school lol i remember reading a street-racing column you friggin' ricers :P:P

I'm pretty sure it's Independence. My school is definitely not known for racing... There are things that go down on capital expressway, though. The official meeting place seems to be that plaza with In-N-Out across capital from Eastridge =P.
