Someone from my school got his letter today and I am just wondering who else is still waiting for their letter.... I am!

Still waiting…

Idk if this helps you but I got my letter today and I’m in NY.

I’m in Hawaii, so I’m not sure of anything! haha.

@ cdr777 what is/was your status when you got your letter?

FWIW, we are in Norcal and my S’s status has been stuck on “Your application is being reviewed by the admission committee… . .” FOREVER.

None of the tricks work. We haven’t heard anything, even though his app has been in since December 1. S’s major is undecided.

We are still assuming that S will get in. (His stats were strong enough that he might even get merit aid). While I have to say that we would really really be happy to see an acceptance packet, I understand that the admissions committee is juggling a lot of stuff, and they never told us we would know by the ides of March.

We will know soon enough. Good luck to all! And don’t think you are the only ones waiting – or that the wait necessarily means bad news.

Our son received his acceptance packet today!!!
We live in the SF Bay Area.

A few days ago his application status changed from “forwarded to committee for review” to “Your application is being reviewed by the admission committee. We will mail notification of their decision by April 1. If for some reason you don’t receive our written notice, we will be happy to provide the results over the phone beginning April 11th.”

Yesterday, on the application staus site he was able to access the acceptance deposit form (thanks to the hints from several people on CC).

This afternoon, on the Admissions portion of USC Connect site, the Enrollment Commitment Deposit box and the RSVP for Admitted Students Programs box appeared!

Good luck to everyone waiting, we know how stressful this is!

My status since end of january was forwarded for committee review but changed to “Your application is being reviewed… admission committee will inform you by april 1” on friday.

When did it change, if you don’t mind me asking.

still waiting… my status had changed 2 “forwarded” somewhere around friday :-/

Still waiting… however my friend who applied to marshal got his already; no one else did

some of my friends received their acceptance packets today, soo…

I also have the forwarded status (it changed last week). Both the links work for me, but I dont want to jump to any conclusions!

einnob - on what date did your status change to forwarded? What was it before? Mine changed from “fall grades” to “forwarded” on Saturday but the links don’t work for me.

^My status changed from “we have your fall grades…don’t request anything at this time” to “forwarded” last Friday.

When did both links start working for you? And what school did you apply to?

Hmm. Maybe your acceptance is in the mail.

Both links just started working today, and I applied to the school of architecture.

Weird… well it seems my status updates are a day behind yours so I’ll post if the links work for me tomorrow. But it’s probably by school. I’m guessing your status will change to “being reviewed” within the next few days and you’ll get a letter by Monday.

But the thing is, I dont know if the link thing is accurate at predicting acceptance or not. In another thread, someone said that decisions come out by most qualified students to the borderline students, so I not too sure if its my school. my stats are no where near some of you guys, I have a 2020 and around 4.0 weighted.

I was part of that discussion too! My theory is that it’s by most qualified students by school. And since Architecture is portfolio-based, you very well could be one of the more qualified applicants. But all of these are just theories, so who knows.

Our stats are similar… my SAT is 2090 and my W GPA was 3.89 when I applied. I also applied for a portfolio-based school (SCA).

hm, i got an acceptance package in the mail today (in norcal).
