Got accepted to College of Engineering - Undeclared Intent (First Choice)

Have only international students been receiving their admission decisions (I believe on their site is says that they post their decisions for int. students as they go)? I think everyone else receives their notification on March 30th (or that’s what the Wolfpaw site says, anyway). Either way, congratulations! I’ll be sure to post my decision in a month.

@ncstatefreshman - I’d drop in on it if I get a chance. Although I am inclined towards Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, I’d love to explore all options out there :)

@genetiguy - Is that so? I am not really sure when I actually got my decision because I just happened to check my WolfPaw account after a week or so and found good news. Well, if what you say is right, this thread will stay dead for like another month or so. :O

indianstudent0: During E101 you’ll have to go to Departmental Workshops where you’ll be exposed to other engineering disciplines, whether or not you are undecided. The PSE one is always very entertaining.

Comments: Received my acceptance letter today in the mail. Excited. ^-^ Got accepted into CALS and the Agricultural Institute. One less college I have to stress about getting into(:

Angelus, I’m guessing you applied by the February 1st deadline? I didn’t realize that they’d be sending out letters before the March 30th notification date.

edit: Congrats on getting into CALS! I’m hoping to be accepted as well.

That is correct. To tell you the truth I had no idea that decisions came out this early. Plus, considering the fact that my materials were lost in the mail and they did not receive imy new materials till about Feb 26 and my letter was dated March 1 was a bigger shock. lol I just opened my mailbox this evening and there was a giant white letter with writing that said “The Big Envelope” in big red lettersXD

P.S: I’m sure you’ll get accepted! I wish you the best of luck!

That’s odd… maybe they got yours and put it on the top of the stack ahah. Either way, lucky for you. I thought I was going to be waiting til March 30th to find out online, but now I’m going to be on edge.

I’m sure you’ll be accepted. If you want encouragement, even though I do not know your stats, at the time of application submission the only ACT score I sent to NC State was a 23 and I still got accepted before I could send them my updated ACT score:D haha I still have to keep my fingers crossed too for admissions decisions day on March 28 for my other colleges.

getetiguy, I haven’t heard of anyone else getting their acceptance letters this early so maybe it is just out of state and/or internationals. Good luck and make sure you post as soon as you hear…I will too!

Yeah, that’s what I’m guessing (or it was a rare oddity). I’m looking forward to finding out on the 30th at 7 pm (assuming the servers don’t crash ahah)!

Angelus292, is FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) same as Business Professionals of America? My D competed in that competition and is going to nationals in Orlando. How did your State competition turn out? Any chance you will be in Orlando?
