<p>Hey im considering a transfer to North Carolina State, I was just wondering if anyone had any opinions or advice they could offer. You can only tell so much from looking at websites and visiting. I was wondering what its like outside the classroom, like partying, student life, all that stuff. Thanks for any input you guys have</p>
<p>My D is a soph @ NC State. She’s in the College of Textiles - Fashion Management. She is a member of ZTA sorority and lives in the house.</p>
<p>The academics are challeging, especially the math and science requirements - state is known for the “technical” degrees that chapel hill doesn’t have - i.e. engineering.</p>
<p>Large campus - north is somewhat old and not as “pretty”. The newer Centenial Campus where textiles/engineering is beautiful and modern.</p>
<p>Great sports-ACC.</p>
<p>I’m sure lots of partying - tailgaiting very popular.</p>
