I am a Rising Junior in High School and planned on getting a North Face for the Rest of High School and College. I was debating between the Women's Jester ii and the Borealis. Can't Decide, Please Help. Also Include If You Have One of the Two What Do You Carry in It.

Why Do You Speak Like This? It Isn’t Cool.

Get whichever one is bigger (or if they are the same size, get ones specially designed for laptop carrying, etc)

It’s really hard to just make a general statement about which one is going to be better. The ideal backpack for me may not be the ideal backpack for you.

I find size to be very important - the bigger the better. You may end up carrying more stuff on a daily basis than you’ve anticipated.

Having a slot for a laptop was an important factor for me when I bought my High Sierra backpack, but I’ve found that I ultimately prefer carrying my laptop in a separate dedicated laptop bag. When I get a new backpack, a laptop compartment won’t be such a priority.

The best thing to do is actually go look at some in stores. Open them up and see how the compartments are arranged. You can typically find them for much less online, but seeing them in person is the best way to see if it’s what you want.

I Didn’t Ask Your Opinion On How I Type. I Asked Your Opinion On The Best North Face.

Like I said, it’s hard to really classify one as “the best North Face.”

What will you be carrying in it? Will you be carrying a laptop in it? Just textbooks/notebooks? How many per day?

Do you anticipate needing multiple mesh sidepockets for drinks? Do you need multiple compartments that are organized for pens/pencils etc?

Some people get by with those tiny little canvas gym backpack things that have drawstring straps. Other people use gigantic backpacks with wheels. Needs vary quite a bit.
