A lot of members of this thread are freshman. I wonder if there’s any transfer students here
Did any of you receive North Texas Community College Scholarship which provides full tuition scholarship for 10 transfer students? I want to know their specific requirement for this scholarship.
I have around 200 hours of volunteering, PTK member, 1 leadership ( mentor for ACE proram ), 2 work places as tutor, receive some scholarships (STEM Institute scholarship, grant from state, Suzanne Andres). Some of my friends said that it is not competitive enough. Can you guys give me any advice?
Abby, a counselor at SMU, told me that the first thing they look at is leadership position, but I am not that into it. I dedicated most of my time volunteering and working.
It would be good if you can give me some ideas or stats about previous recipients.
You seem to have a pretty solid start. What type of GPA are you working with?
@monica01 I have 4.0 now. And I think I still preserve it at the end of this semester before transfering
I am curious, did you get the scholarship?
