North vs. South

Which is better? Why?

The Dirty South, fa sho. IDK why, it just is.

North–because it has snow.

However, the topic is vague since you did not mention a specific region or country.

I like the North better because I wouldn’t want it to be hot all year round. But, I do have relatives in Mississippi that I visit a lot (my mom’s from there), and I like it a little.

I thought it was obvious. Northern US and Southern US, excluding the west.

The North is better because the weather is nicer, not as hot, and it’s not boring compared to the south…;l I hate living in the south.

Very different lifestyles. The south is much more laud back and a slower one compared to the hustle and bustle of the north. Depending on your personality that could be a good or bad thing. Good luck!

^^^Oh. I still adhere to my statement. North FTW!

Yes, I wish that it would snow here.

This was decided long ago. Of course we’re better. We won the Civil War.

North. We have a greater percentage of the landmass and population —> Being cooler.

^^^ If it snowed in the south, we wouldn’t know what to do. We’d just shut down.

Hell, it snowed in memphis when I lived there. And South, we have VA. We have snow. /thread.

I live in GA, so it really only snows north of Atlanta.

^^In NC, when there’s any snow at all school is closed. We didn’t go for 5 days because there was snow patches, not even an inch…haha, maybe .2 inches or less. We’ve had 3 inches since living here though.

^When I went to Atlanta it snowed, and it was mightily cold, it was quite surprising.

North Korea is best Korea.

^^^^ Last winter I watched a news clip on a city in the South where it snowed for the first time in some number of years. People were driving through snow banks. The camera caught this one guy who tried to bypass traffic by driving over a lawn, got stuck, and tried to back out, except he was accelerating too quickly and so he only fell deeper into the snow.

I live in the South.

Every time I turn on the TV, I see political ads that try to prove who is the bigger a$$hole “(I hate Obama more than anyone!” “Well, I want to make Christian praying mandatory in every public area!” “Dang Mexicans.” “LIBERALS!!! GRAHHHH melts”). That is why I hate the South sometimes, or at least certain parts of it.

But I do love when it snows… 5 day weekends, anyone? :)

note: political quotes may be slightly exaggerated. Unfortunately, not as much as one would think.

^^^ This may be a shock to some people, but it does actually get cold down here. We’re talking 30’s and 40’s for weeks on end. Although, Christmas usually means flip-flop weather.

You know, when it snows in the South we get a ridiculously large number of days off school and everyone is happy. When it gets hot in the North (like, say, this week), everyone complains that they’re dying. Oh god, it’s almost 95 degrees up there? How sad. It’s a wonder you’re not melting where you stand. Come down here and enjoy two months straight of over 100 degree weather.

This argument was settled in 1865.
