NorthEast College Road Trip #2

I still have dreams about that cheese shop.

+1 on Hollins while you are in Roanoke if a women’s college isn’t a dealbreaker. Hollins’ Batten Leadership Institute might be of interest, and merit is a possibility there for your D. University of Richmond is a gorgeous campus and fine school but may be reachy.

@DoDEAMom18, I have 2 kids at 2 of the schools on your list - PM if you want details. You might take a look at the University of Delaware while you are driving to NJ (the school is in Newark, Delaware - very confusing). Not a LAC, but our school sends kids who are a lot like your D. Very close to Philly and NYC area for flights home. They may have merit for your student with an interesting background. Must apply early for honors consideration.

@VAOptimist sent you a slightly stalker-ish PM  Thanks for the offer of info about your 2 college kids.

Just when I thought it was safe to print off the map (as a back up, of course using GPS)… lots of good suggestions. MARYMOUNT UNIVERSITY in Arlington has caught DD2 eye … Criminal, Soc and Psych. Even though she does not want Criminal Justice major or minor…she wants “something” to do with Criminology or Crim Justice so is looking for the option to even just take some courses along with her major. Ran the NPC and it was as usual amazingly so very close to the other NPC’s.

Skipping Richmond for Roanoke is probably a good idea. That way you can just go straight down 81 from Juniata,
